Borgo Street (Borgo Stretto)
Borgo Stretto, just off the Arno River, is a popular spot for both shoppers and diners. View some of the latest Italian fashions or other specialty items in the many boutiques, or rest and enjoy a fine coffee and gelato. Be prepared to leave behind a bit of the wallet, as it is considered one of Pisa's more expensive streets. It is also the street famous scientist Galileo resided.
