    Church of the Knights of Stephen (Santo Stephano dei Cavalieri)
    Built in 1565, this cathedral was designed by Vasari, renown Italian architect, painter and biographer. It has a intricate exterior faced with marble and a richly decorated interior with works by Vasari and painter Bronzino. There are several Turkish flags in the building, most stolen by knights during battles.

    Baptistery (Battistero)
    This Gothic baptismal chapel is well known for the pulpit sculpted by famous Italian artist Nicola Pisano, as well as its incredible acoustics. Openings vary in accordance to the season.

    Cathedral of Pisa (Il Duomo di Pisa)

    This spiritual centre was built in between 1063 to 1350 and is adorned with works of many acclaimed Italian sculptors, including Guglielmo Pisano and his son Nicola. The Duomo is part of several astonishing buildings in Cathedral Square, constructed during what is considered the height of Italian Romanesque architecture. Open daily – times vary per season.
